About YS

Hello. I am YS, and I run YS의 책장. This is a personal site I made to write and share my own thoughts and outlook on science, the economy, current affairs, and similar subjects. At first I was considering platforms such as Naver Blog and Tistory, but from watching YouTube I learned how to make a personal website, and that is how I came to try this.

I graduated from an ordinary university in Seoul. I worked at a small company for two years, from 2017 to 2019, and then left. In 2020 I was out of work. I watched YouTube, thought about the future, and spent seven months unable to settle on a direction. That is how I came to run this site. I entered university in the physics department, then transferred and graduated in chemical engineering.

In a period people were calling the Fourth Industrial Revolution, I saw YouTube describe this as the easiest time to make money since the dawn of Korean history, and I wondered whether I could earn money through the internet. That led me to a modest attempt: a site for sharing writing in which I imagine and anticipate my own thoughts and the future.
